Weapons & Armor, also known as The Palladium Book of Weapons and Armor, is an encyclopedic study of weapons and armor. The 50-page illustrated book contains material that can be converted to various role-playing games.
The first half of the book contains illustrations and statistics for the armor of the Assyrians, Aztecs, Byzantines, Chinese, Greeks, Indians (Asian and American), Japanese, Mongols, Normans, Persians, Romans, Saxons, South Pacific Islanders, Tebetans, Vikings, and several types of chain mail and plate armor.
The second half of the book contains statistics and drawings of over 600 weapons from the Maorin adze, the Persian acinaces, the Roman aclys, the European awl-pike, and the Rajput abbasi to the Indian zaghnal, the Persian zirah bouk, the Venetian zagaye, and the German zweihander. The weapons are as small as the 15-centimeter long Japanese to-su and as long as the 6-meter long sarissa, a Greek pike.
