An RPG set in the Shadowfist setting of oriental martial arts and wuxia Hong Kong action theatre kung fu movies. The emphasis in the RPG is on fun, and style counts for more in the game than good dice rolls. To quote the book "The world of Feng Shui is a world of high melodrama...The villain you've been tracking down for years might turn out to be the best friend who betrayed you...In Feng Shui there's no such thing as a hoary plotline... The style and structure of action movies is what Feng shui is about.".
The RPG is based upon the Shadowfist Trading Card Game, but you do not need that product or experience of it to play Feng Shui. It carries over the theme and the clans, the Guiding Hand, The Architects of The Flesh and so on from the card game.
The 286pb softback B&W book has a lot of original illustrations to set the theme. The book has all you'd need to start playing, introductions to RPGs and the story, the core rules (character creation, combat and so on), and some world/campaign info. The writing style is very friendly and encourages players to think creatively outside of the usual RPG styles. The GM is encouraged to use action to move plots along ("have a guy come through the door with a gun").
