Follow the larger-than-life American hero, Theodore Roosevelt from his birth in New York City to Harvard graduate, to rancher, to organizer of a volunteer regiment, The Rough Riders, in the Spanish-American War. Fresh from the popular success from the Rough Riders, Roosevelt turned to politics, being elected Governor of New York in 1898, Vice-President in 1900, where he assumed the Presidency after William McKinley was assassinated in 1901. Roosevelt became the first American to win the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in bringing an end to the Russo-Japanese conflict in 1904. Introduction by Bill Jones.
